SCENE 2 : PASSION AND LONELINESS (Coubray - Lefebvre)
“Meeting several kind of people, Mem’ocho is seduce by a girl but he’s disappointed too. Humans are so far to perfection, always searching right from wrong, they can’t pleased what they have. Looking further is the essence of this world.”
MEM’OCHO :
“Now you come to me to know the truth,
How can you say there’s no abuse.
You’ve left me in my dream.
Now you want to know why I’m such a fool.
I won’t take too much of your time if you can let me speak.
What do you think I don’t care what you are or what you do.
It won’t kill me to see you through.
Now that you’ve gone you’ve left in my dream,
I’m stuck there on my own watching you leaving.
Don’t you know I’m not that strong,
You’ve been so cruel, for you’ve left me there,
The essence of my soul evaporated.”
THE ANGELS :
“Life is short so don’t waste your time.
You’ll have another life to be down.”
MEM’OCHO : THE ANGELS :
“How could I survive, “Ho don’t you act,
She’s vanished with my heart. Like there’s nothing now?
So pity to be so lonely, Take your time, don’t be shy,
I do think I’ll always be down...” There’s no time to be down...”
THE EARTH :
“Ho don’t you act,
Like there’s nothing now?
Think of what you’ll be from here,
There’s no reason to be down.”
MEM’OCHO :
“It won’t kill me to see you through.
Now that you’ve gone you’ve left in my dream,
I’m stuck there on my own watching you leaving.
Can’t you see I’m vulnerable,
You couldn’t care less, still I can’t face,
Do you think you could change me?”
“Now I feel as if I could kick the world, there’s nothing to stop me in my race.
You can try to put me into trouble, I will slip away ‘cause I don’t care.
All my life, I’ve been a slave of time and of all the things everyone care for.
Now I feel as if I could be in love with every girl I will see.
But when the light of the day becomes far too bright,
I’ll return to my life with my soul company.
All my life, I’ve tried to catch a dream, and all I’ve found is hate and pain...
All I’ve seen is loneliness...
All I’ve seen is loneliness...
All I’ve seen is loneliness...”
“Now that you’re gone you’ve left in my dream,
I’m still there on my own watching you leaving.
So you realise that I am resourceful but it’s all too late,
As I can now stand for myself.
“Alone again, Mem’ocho keeps wonder how to adapt himself through this “hell on earth” and he choses to spread the faith around him, but it seems that religion, faith and devotion are not kind of familiar things here.”

Orenda is a french progressive-rock band that has been around for some years.
You will find on this new album called
« Next », what is the meaning of progressive music. Beautiful melodies, epic choirs, soloing duels guitar-keyboards and musical structures where heavy parts counterpart with acoustic, dramatic, ambiant parts.
And better than that: it is extremely well played....more

The lyrics alone are outstanding.
The album doesn't "flow" as good as their latest album Amazingous, but instead offers more experiments and stays even more quirky.
A track like "Teddy Bears" predates what will be A.M.A.Z.I.N.G a few years later.
Really, a must-have for any fan of awesome pop/rock/exerimental stuff. Chris <(")

Plus de cuivres, plus de cordes, des arrangements encore plus fabuleux pour un album concept immersif ; Methexis est une entité musicale en perpétuelle évolution... Génial ! Que dire de plus ? Poesy Rider
