“Fear in your eyes, you know that I want it, your dreams are my life.
Feel what I need, I won’t let you go far, ‘keep enslaving you now.
The need leads your life, don’t wait any longer and cry out your silence.
Madness, I won’t blame, it is the Queen of my life, quiet an’ strange...
Here I come, I’ve left my evil den lost in...
...a spiral world...
Blown away by humankind and anew from the ashes, amongst evil power...
I’ll never be a mortal man...
Surrender your mind to me, I won’t eternally hang around,
You’ll see I’m exctasy, relaxing, sexciting.
Sinners are my life, madness in their eyes.
Demanding all and now will lead you to your fall.
Here I come, I’ve left my evil den lost in...
...a spiral world...
Broken into pieces, then back into one piece, amongst deep darkness...
I’ll never be a mortal man...
Blown away by humankind and anew from the ashes, amongst evil power...
I’ll never be a mortal man...
Here I come, I’ve left my evil den lost in a spiral world.
Blown away by humankind, and anew from the ashes,
I’ll never be a mortal man...”
THE EARTH:
“Let us go, let us live. Let us go, let us leave.”
THE ANGELS:
“Don’t worry...
...God didn’t forget you.
Soon the rising truth...
...will appear,
Against the Evil...
...against the evil sign.
Wait for that moment...
...to come and...
And save each one of you.”
MEM’OCHO:
“Shut up, I am the Devil, and humans are my prize, I’ll break them like they’ve done to me.”
THE EARTH:
“Slaying, killing, how could we escape that hell we can’t control.”
THE ANGELS:
“The time has come...
...for you to be quiet.
Only a matter...
...of time.
Dry your tears...
...it’s almost a dream,
A daydream that will end now...
GOD:
“I talk, you belong to Me, I’m the One to decide what you shall be.
And now here is My judgement: you’re a tortured human soul.”
MEM’OCHO:
“Living in the depth of humanity with nothing but my cries...”

Orenda is a french progressive-rock band that has been around for some years.
You will find on this new album called
« Next », what is the meaning of progressive music. Beautiful melodies, epic choirs, soloing duels guitar-keyboards and musical structures where heavy parts counterpart with acoustic, dramatic, ambiant parts.
And better than that: it is extremely well played....more
The lyrics alone are outstanding.
The album doesn't "flow" as good as their latest album Amazingous, but instead offers more experiments and stays even more quirky.
A track like "Teddy Bears" predates what will be A.M.A.Z.I.N.G a few years later.
Really, a must-have for any fan of awesome pop/rock/exerimental stuff. Chris <(")
Plus de cuivres, plus de cordes, des arrangements encore plus fabuleux pour un album concept immersif ; Methexis est une entité musicale en perpétuelle évolution... Génial ! Que dire de plus ? Poesy Rider
